Through sightless sight I watch a soul
Held within from awakening.
Your spirit, vibrant and on the edge
Of wild knows my very being.
By chance or fate we pause to
Share a breath.
We see beyond into each other’s mirrors.
Yet simple sight we dare not view.
Lest path’s diverge from one to two.
When the light obscures the stars,
Do they not still shine?
This I know is true.
When all light fails my love for you
Will guide me, find me, calm and keep me
Forever in your arms.
All I can promise is the moment.
The rest I leave to destiny.
